Hello,
I’m Kate, a qualified counsellor registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, with training in both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic Therapy. In my practice, I use an integrative approach, drawing on these perspectives to support you in exploring deeper patterns that may have developed over time, often rooted in earlier life experiences. This process can help you understand feelings of being ‘stuck’ and support meaningful, lasting change.
With a background in reflexology, I have long been interested in the connection between the body and mind, and how emotional experiences can be held physically in the body. By sharing grounding techniques to help regulate the nervous system and bringing awareness of the mind-body connection, clients are supported to develop the tools to self-regulate, reconnect and stay present in the here and now.

I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and regularly engage in both online and in-person training to deepen and expand my practice. This has included a range of workshops, such as "Suicide Prevention", "Self Harm Awareness", Working Therapeutically With Sand Tray", "Disordered and Emotional Eating", "An Introduction to Animal Assisted Therapy", and "An Integrative Mind/Body Approach to Trauma and Complex PTSD.
